Greetings,

I found this site in a Google search and, I must say, am impressed with the quality of the posts/replies.

So, here's my dilemma:

I have a site with an MICS 0X32, PRI (2-way DID), 4-port Flash 2.0, T7316 sets. The goal is to have the ability to answer two DID calls simultaneously. Really, two calls of any type simultaneously. There are two I/C keys on each set, and the target lines are set for Ring Only. No lines appear on the sets. After the first call is established, the second call goes straight to VM.

Reading some of the other posts, I set the T-Line Prime Set to None, If Busy: to Busy Tone (why? just to try). I set DRT to Prime in System Programming to to No. The Set is programmed for the T-Line to Ring Only with 1 appearance (I did try 2).

Still, when the user is on the phone, a second call goes straight to VM.

Is N* capable of handling two calls, then Flash?

Thanks in advance.

Check the Call Forward on Busy setting for that one telephone. If you don't want subsequent calls to forward to voicemail (or anywhere else for that matter) make sure this setting is set to NONE.

Caller ID on a partial T1

Thanks for the input.

Call Forward on Busy does seem to be the key to my problem. I did remove it from one set, and set Prime Set on the T-Line to the Flash DN and If Busy: to Prime and all appears to work now as desired. First call gets presented to the phone, second call too, then third goes to VM.

Again, thanks!

replacing ICS cabinet

the problem is the number of instances you have set for the target line. By default when you add the target line for ring only it assign only one instance. Change that to the number of icm keys, in your example, 2
