Hello everyone. Call Pilot 100 version 2 with 10 mailboxes, installed with CICS vers. 6.1 giving me great difficulties in the notification field. With two mailboxes ( of the total of 7 ) my customer keeps loosing the programmed numbers of the cellphones. After that, all what they have in the notification admin. field that " not init ".When I reprogrammed the number ( it happened quite a few times already) the rest of the notification info ( time range of the notification, and notify after each new message ) was still in the memory. I tried to reboot the voicemail, the ksu, deleted the troublemakermailboxes and reboot the Call pilot and add both mailboxes as new again, but within one day the numbers were lost from those two.I didn't have any problem with the rest of the mailboxes. After reprogramming the number, the notification works for about a day or two, and then.... I got the notification from my customer, that they are screwed again. My next stepp will be to give them different mailbox numbers, and if the problem will still exist, then to reinstall the Call Pilot. This is a brand new unit. Could it be that I have a faulty unit ?? Have some one had the same problem, or I am the first with this ?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance Istvan

Hi Ramjet. Thanx for the fast answer. Today, first I will try with the different mailbox numbers and if they won't help, then I will reprogram the whole VM system. Thanx again. Istvan

Hello every1. I reinstalled the CP 100, didn't help. Replaced it with another brand new one, of the same type. 2 days later one of my troublemaker mailbox ( happen to be the main bos' ) lost the cellnumber programmed for notification. I reprogrammed the number again, but having the same problem with two brand new system indicates to me, I should look for the trouble somewhere else, not within the CP 100. But what else could cause the erasing of only the phonenumber?????
Thanx in advance for any idea. Istvan

Hello PP First of all, thanx for the reply. Unfortunatelly I can't put the blame on to the BIG BOS for two reasons. #1: He wouldn't dare to go that deep into the programming. #2: As I mentioned before I'm the one who does the programming. I had done that several times specifically on this mailbox and tested worked ok for a day or two and then
" trouble "(number lost) B good. Istvan

Hi Hotextec Thanx for the replay. I will try that. I'm very desparate, don't have too much to loose, but the customer.Although they are very patient with me.The funny part is even knowing the passcode I couldn't create the situation what I had in that particular mailbox.(having " not init " without changing the notification time range and the notification after each new message) So this seems to be very tough for me. I have a couple questions. First is this only happening on the boss' ext? If so try another mailbox on another ext. If that works focus on the ext. Disable/Renable the ext. If that doesn't work try build and new mailbox on, say 501, assign it to his ext and apply the not. number to it.

Hello CMA14 thanx for your replay.Up to now I always approached this problem of mine from the CP 100 side. I didn't think that the erasing of the notification number can be caused by the extension. To tell the truth my way, didn't help me. I will try to disable/enable those extensions ( 221,225).At the previous CP 100 it happened with the same two extensions Before I replaced the brand new CP 100 (used for about one month) I deleted the mailboxes of 221 and 225, opened a new ones as 321 and 325, attached those to ext. 221 and 225, and programmed the notification to these new mailboxes. I had big hopes on this, but it didn't work.12 hours later the notification number of mailbox 325 was history ( 321 was OK ) I didn't wait further, reset CP 100 and reprogrammed it completely, it worked for 6 days without any problem, then I found the notification numbers lost for mailbox 221/225. Then I replaced the CP 100, 4 days ago ( with a brand new one ). Since then, I had to reprogram the notification for mailbox 225 twice ( 221 seems to be ok, but we are only at the day number 4 for the new CP100 ). " So this is the story of my life. " I hope this is not 2 confusing. Talk to you next time Istvan
