I have heard that I have to update FastRADs for them to work on 6.0/6.1 is this true? Where do i start?

Depends on where the FastRad is currently. The upgrade (patch) fixes a couple of issues with the device. I know of some manufactured in 2000 had a problem where a power capacitor wasn't big enough for the unit and it would default all the information. Nortel offered a replacement for those devices. Can't remember the release number of the problem RADs. I would say if your RAD was manufactured prior to August 2000, then it needs the patch.

There is a firmware upgrade that allows the ans of target lines on PRI's and some E&M setups. This is only addressed to rel 4.0. How old is your RAD, and did you upgrade the software on your MICS? Rel 4.0 is the first rel to allow PRI on an MICS. What kind of probs are you having???? Brewsky, I haven't heard of the cap thing, all of my RAD's have never given me any grief. Am I just lucky???

If you notice that sometimes you lose all the programming on a RAD and scratch your head and say "Damn it, I know I programmed this stupid thing..", then you have seen it...
