I have a customer with a MICS 6.0 who has tried two different music sources for his music-on-hold (an OHP4000 and also a system-friendly radio) and after trying both of these items the music will not play on all phones when they place calls on hold. He has tried changing out the DS cards also. The receptionist phone is the only phone that the callers can hear the music on hold...while all phones can press Feature 85 to hear background music with no problems. I have turned on both Background Music in System Programming as well as the OnHold option to Music. Does anyone know if there is a conflict with 6.0 s/w with MOH? Help please!! :

Do the other sets have line app? Are they ans calls via F75? I tried this here with a call to a DID number, and it works fine. More info?

The M7310 sets that have lines private to them (not DID's, just private) are the ones with the problem...Any calls through the receptionist phone or phones with the rollover lines have no problem. My thought is that since the MOH is turned on through SYSTEM PROG then it should play on every line and through every set...am I incorrect in thinking that or is there something that I am missing?

As far as I can think, it should work. It is just a matter of a set putting an outside call on hold. Anybody else??????

Check trunk programming & try setting then as Public. User will still have them as private keys, but allows xfer's & may fix MOH[/code]

It's rare that I use private lines, so never noticed it before.
