| How do you set the time of day in a Nortel Norstar System? After entering **8463, the screen shows a place to enter a password, however, the machine will not allow it to be entered. While I am entering the password, the screen remains blank (to the right of Password Thanks | ||||||||

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | If the NVRAM cartridge has a PCMCIA card plugged into it, you can use the F**TIME method for setting time and date, if not, you will have to enter programming to set it. Software rel up to 4.0 just had the NVRAM and no PCM card. Rel 4 and above use the PCM card for software delivery. This is also where programming changes from seeing config, and general admin to terminal & sets etc.

I still feel the only problem is a bad password. We do not post passwords on this forum, so post a private message back to one of us and we can try to help. When a system is working properly, it appears just as you stated. Nothing appears on the screen to the right of Password except for RETRY.
