I have to replace a hard drive on a BCM 1000 2.5. I looked in my BCM books from my nortel class but it doesn't say anything about configuring or initializing the new hard drive. It can't be as simple as plug and play. Can someone please help? Appreciate any help.

Plug n Play....Nortel....HAAHAHAahahaha.....I sure don't think so. What in the world are you going to replace the HD for...I guess its dead?? I sure think there's a lot of stuff on it that you will never be able to copy to another drive....I'll venture to say, you probably will have to send the whole thing in to Nortel to get it repaired.....better buy a back-up to put in its place while its getting repaired. I guess there's several partitions, who knows what OS probably OS2 maybe??? I wish you luck....Keep us posted!
