Rep Power: 0 ![]() | someone asked me if they could install a second cap module onto their existing m7324 phone. i understand that the first cap module has a power source wired for it, does the second cap module require a second power source or could you use the existing power source for the second one. also as far as programming the second one, what would you enter under cap assignment? thanks, tim

In this example a 6 conductor modular jack is being used. The power supply can power 2 KLMs. To connect second KLM you will add another power pair to the 3rd pair on the 6 conductor modular jack. You can have a maximum of 5 CAPs(10 KLMs) “central answering positions” per system. The CAP can only be a 7324 and you can attach 2 KLMs to the 7324. 1st KLM Power Pair pin 5 Yellow -24 V pin 2 Black Gnd 2nd KLM Power Pair Pin 6 Blue -24 V Pin 1 White Gnd THERE IS NO SOFTWARE PROGRAMING FOR THE SECOND CAP OF AN EXSISTING UNIT, ONLY IF YOU ARE ADDING ANOTHER PHONE WITH A CAP WOULD YOU HAVE TO GO INTO SOFTWARE
