Rep Power: 0jp196901 is a newbie
Country:
Norstar MICS, install/program DID trunk card

I have a MICS w/4.1 software. I have a DID card (NT5B37GA) I am trying to program. The CO says they are not receiving a wink no matter what I change my line settings to.
Using ports 49-50 for 2 DID analog trunks
Programmed target lines 145-159
Have set lines to DID and E&M with auto answer set to YES then tried NO.
Have tried signal type WINK and Immediate

NO combination is working the CO is continuing to say they are not receiving a wink from us.
We have replaced DID card with no change.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Good Evening,

A few things to help you:

Do you know if the telco requires CCI? (Which you connect on the White/Brown pair)

For CCI connections in Service: NC1 stands for the normally closed relay and Com1 the common relay.
CCI signaling is not supported by all carriers. For carriers or installations that do not use CCI signaling, the CCI and ET
connections should be treated as “no connection”. CCI wiring is a non-standard wiring arrangement which has been
submitted to the DOC.

Also, what happens when you assign the line ports to a set, and then call a DID. Do you even see the trunk port flash ?

Let me know

Easiest thing is to take a test set with a polarity LED on it and go off-hook and see if the polarity changes, if it does you have a wink
