I have connected two Norstar ICS system through two AudioCodes MP112 VoIP FXS Gateways.
No I try to do the same with a MICS, but can't get it to work.
Basically I programmed the Gateways to ring when a certain number is dialed. In the rouing I selected a destination code. The route I programmed to call external number of the VoIP gateway which cause the trunk on the distant end to ring, the distant end trunk is programmed for auto-answer no DISA and will provide me a dialtone back after 2 rings. I have place DT (wait for Dial Tone) after the VoIP Gateway number in the external dialing string, so the extension digits will only be sent after the dial tone is received. The distant and will receive the digits and have the target line ring at the corresponding extension. As I said this works fine between CICS system. However I cannot get the MICS to send me dial tone after the auto-answer line no DISA is picked up. This particular system is also not sending the next digits after the Dial Tone is received from the CICS. Am I missing something here, or might the system be faulty? Any help is highly appreciated.
