Is there any way to use the NRU software and download the programming from a norstar into a legible format such as excel.

MIRAN External Music Source

Yes, you use the workbook feature, and it comes out in excel. You can also change prog from this if you change the file from read only.

I am assuming you are talking about OLP (off line programming)

It not too complicated.

You need to open excel and then launch the file that is appropriate to your MICS. NRU 10 makes this real easy to do.

A new drop down will appear at the top of Excel called ICS.

You need to "Configure Workbook" then "Configure System Size"
Then you want to "save-as" the file to an appropriate name.

Then you go to the ICS drop down again and "aquire ICS"

At first you want to just click the "Startup" item and then hit ok.

This will get the excel file all setup for your system's DN's and stuff.

You then can go back to Aquire more stuff. Do it in small chukcs so you don't crash the switch or take 3 days to get the info.
