Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Paging Our operators use M2250 consoles on an Option 81c. How are the paging keys tied into switch. I understand that the keys are assigned an extension, but is there a physical port/card that these keys hit? Occassionally when the key is pressed, the tone and message are garbled.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | You posted in the BCM / Norstar forum. You should post this type of question in the Meridian forum. As to the answer to your question the paging is usually connected via a universal trunk card NT8D14. Print a TNB of your console and you will see the page key programmed as PAG XXX where XXX is the trunk route ACOD. These can also be programmed as autodial keys. Do they have to hold the button to make a page? If they do it is programmed as a PAG key.
