line pool C

How about some help guys. Here is the set up. I have a customer with a MICS using line pool A (access code 9) and pool B (access code eight). They are adding 6 more lines and want to use pool C. I tried to use access code 7 for pool C but could not enter any digits. My question is can you set up a third pool? If you can what digits can you use and is there some system programming involved. Thanks for your attention.

The reason you can't use "7" is it is the pilot number for the hunt groups. My question is why do they need 3 line groups. However, I would change the access code for line pools to none, then create routes for each line pool, route 000 being the default for pool A, then create 2 digit destination codes for the routes. Or use destination codes of say 9, 8, and 5 or 6.

The reason they need 3 line pools is because they have 3 businesses in the same building and they added 6 new lines. I was able to use access code 4 for line pool C. There is talk of adding line pool D, then what?

I suggest going to 2 digit access codes. e.g. Pool A = 91, Pool b = 92, Pool c = 93, Pool D = 94 etc.

That would have been my next suggestion, 2 digit destination codes.
