Location: SC Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Reoccurring phoneset problems Hopefully, this is something I am just overlooking.... Norstar 0x32 5.0 w/ NAM 3.0(I think) Office had power outage during storm last week. Since power outage, all ext.'s are forwarding to receptionist instead of VM. Have checked each ext., and each is still forwarded to VM. :casstet: :casstet: HELP!

Location: Canada! Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Reoccurring phoneset problems Nam 3.0?? on a mics 5.0?? I don't think that is a compatable combination. I believe your nam NEEDS to be 4.04c or better. If your nam is 4.0 then turn off the redirect dn. there is either a patch disk or you can use voicemail manager.

Location: Littleton,Co Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Cordless Phone Like Cell Phones If you had a power outage, chances are the voicemail came back up before the phone system. If that happened, the phone system is not seeing the voicemail. Try logging on to the voice mail. If you cant, you will have to unplug the voicemail and plug it back in so tthat the phone system recognizes it. You can also check in maint and see if the phone system is seeing the vm.

Location: SC Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Accounts B, have actually tried that, had someone onsite power switch and VM down and back up. This office is one of my remote sites but, I am able to dial in and the switch seems to be seeing the VM but, ext.'s still wont forward to VM.

Location: Vernon, BC, Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | OPTION 11 system speed call list route?? Is the system on a UPS or surge supressor? I'm wondering if the customer database in the Mics became corrupted with the outage. Maybe try turning off all call forwarding for a station port in programming, and then turning it back on to "reset that bit" in programming? I've had issues with Mitel systems where features stop working when the pbx is hit with static. Because that system uses floppies to keep the customer database - a reboot fixes it. But on the MICS its stored in flash ram of sorts...

Location: SC Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Caller ID groups The problem was...had to power off VM and back on again. Apparently, the onsite person I was using to do things for me had about as much sense as a cucumber... Had to call local vendor out, they had it running in about 3 minutes! Its amazing to me that some people in these high positions cant follow simple instructions!

Location: Mass Rep Power: 6 ![]() | mwi not lighting up Yup. I have that happen sometimes here. Next time have them just pull the plug on the NAM and plug it back in after a minute (that gives all parts time to stop spinning). It really suck to have to drive out jus to reboot the NAM, when your home resting
