Doing a favor for a friend, adding a new line to Norstar 6x16, everything works as it should but the new line replaced the paging key and I can't put the paging feature on any other key. I have blanked the key, tried copying another set but no go. What am I missing??

Did you do a Fearure * 3, then press the key that you want paging on then do a Feature 630?
Or one of the other paging combinations?
Unless all of your buttons are taken up by lines, answer DN's, intercoms etc, you should be able to get it to stick.
Which model of phone is it?

Was paging hooked upto a CO line port?

M7208 and I did do the feature*3 but the manual says to enter feature 63 for both internal and external paging, didn't try 630 but will now thanks.

Not sure if it was on a CO line port. From the top of set I have 4 CO lines - redial - speed call - intercom and handsfree - paging was on the 4th position and I'm now trying to put it on the old redial button. From what I remember only intercom and handsfree buttons have to be changed in ADMIN or CONFIG. Minor thing but major headache!

If Co line appeared on phones it automatically assigns it to a button.

Do a Feature * 0 and hit the button that you are trying to put the page command on, and let us know what it says.

Sounds like you are out of buttons. You may have to train/inform your customer to page using the feature code.
