Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Yes, MICS with XC software and 19 0X8 ASM's. With 7.0 and above that leaves you with 2 spare fiber ports on the #2 6 port fiber card. I have to ask, why all the analog ports, is this for a hotel motel app? __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me! Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Yes. I'm about to take a decision but I thought that it's too expensive. Is not it? What's your justifications regarding it??? Can you give me some notes about the building structure for the new system as you recommend: What fiber expansion should I choose (6 or 14 fiber expansion)and the number of them? Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Too expensive as compared to what? The only other switch I would consider for a hospitality setup would be a Mitel. The MICS will outlast everything else on the market. This setup would have as follows. MICS 0X32 with XC software, 2 6 port combo cards, (combo cards because of the DTMF receivers on them), Depending on the amount of trunks needed, 2 trunk cards in the KSU, and up to 3 in the 12X0 module for a total of 20 possible, or a PRI which gives you 23 channels, then add your 8X0 ASM's starting at mod 3 and working up to mod 12 or 13 depending if you go pri or not. I would use the ASM's with message waiting and a Call Pilot 150 as the voice mail. You will also need an SMDR 6 to interface with the call tracking software. As far as longevity goes, it can't be beat. You will still have 28 ports avail for staff extensions. I would use T7316e sets for most of the staff, with T7100's in areas such as waiting. I would also have enough T24 KIM's on the main set to be able to see all sets on the switch as far as busy etc. As far as single line sets for rooms, there are a multitude of sets avail, just take your pick. Now, all this said, I a 2 MICS's in hospitality settings, and I hear from them maybe once a year at most. __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me! | ||||||||
