Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Different Greeting Table Based on Open/Closed Hi. I have a BCM400 Release 3.6 Build 2.2c and CallPilot. I have the AA answer all incoming calls on the main number on 0 rings, then route them to a Greeting Table which references two CCR trees and two company greetings, depending on time of day. While in either tree, pressing 0 or doing nothing will transfer the caller to the attendant extension, which is actually the DN (1312) for a Hunt Group. If no answer on the Hunt Group in 30 seconds, the call goes to the General Delivery Mailbox. BTW, the second CCR tree is almost identical to the first, the only difference is that one of the options triggers a pager instead of an internal hunt group. All of this works perfectly, but I want to make one change: if it is after hours (meaning the caller is in CCR Tree 2), I want pressing 0 (or doing nothing) to take them directly to the General Delivery Mailbox, skipping the Hunt Group, since no one is here. This keeps the caller from having to wait, and keeps the phones from ringing after hours and interrupting meetings, classes, and people working late. One thought is to activate different Greeting Tables (with different Attendant Extensions) based on open/closed, but I don't know of a way to do this. Another would be if someone knows how to define a default "fall through" option for a CCR tree, but again I can find no way to do this. Any help appreciated. I've been working with this system as a volunteer for about 6 months now and am pretty familiar with it, but it's a local Red Cross chapter system and calling in outside help is an expense we would really like to avoid. Thanks.

This feature will reqire a password but you will have to look that up in the docs as we do not give out passwords on this site. When the set the attendant to not available when a caller dials 0 or does nothing the caller will hear "the attendant is not available" and then be dumped into the GD Mailbox. Good luck

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks. I'm assuming then that during "Non-Business" hours the Attendant Available option is automatically Off? The issue is that Attendant Extension is tied to the Greeting Table itself, and not the various CCR trees executed at different times of day. I need a way to automatically change the Attendant Extension in the Greeting Table to go directly to VM, or a way to Set Business Closed AND Attendant Unavailable. Location: Toronto, Ontario Rep Power: 2 ![]() | The following are the settings in the f 982 Attendant Available Y/N (N goes directly to GD Mailbox) (Y Rings Att Ext) Bussiness Open Y/N (Y Follows the time settings in the AA Table) (N Only plays the NB Greeting until turned back on) Answer Lines (Y allows system to answer incoming lines) (N Does not answer CO's) Attn Ext (Sets the attendant extension for Attendant Available) Have fun
