Unhappy Call Center Reporting

Has anyone been able to get call center reporting to work on a MICS w 7/0 software and a cp 150 w/ enhanced call center? Cannot get it to connect on the call center connection screen. Can the pc that has the reporting server on it use dhcp from the internal network or does it have to have its own ip address. I have tried both ways and cannot get it to connect. I am going crazy

See the pm I sent back to ya. The server can use DHCP or not. It will have to be able to keep the connection up to the call center in order to poll and collect the calls. Stand By!

I fought this installation for 2 weeks. Here is what worked for me. I first used a clean machine with XP & SP2. Then installed Netframe 1.1. Turn off windows firewall. Now install the Server software first (a must). Now install the client software. I used DHCP on this machine, because the IP address is only used when you log in to do reporting, call center connection, etc. Always make the CP's static IP address's. Also, make sure you have the latest Reporting for Call Center software. Another thing is the IP address in the Call Center Connection should be Localhost. After I got the RFCC working correctly, I discoverd at one of my customer sites, they have restart the Services to prevent the Reporting from stopping. Now, with that said, another site is not having this problem, but they also started with a clean machine. Hope this helps.

Don't mean to sound really stupid, but, what is Netframe 1.1?

Ramjet, if you search for this online it says it's .NET 1.1, which is one of the updates on Micro$oft Windows Update site.

It's ok, looked on the PC onsite, and all that stuff is on it. I can pretty much set all this stuff up without the help on any "IS" whizkids. It turns out that the software that was downloaded from the Nortel site was corrupted. That's ok too, you can get alot of info from the 2nd level guys once they know you.

1 tidbit! As many have professed to know and have stated that R&D on the N* is at an end. WRONG! That is as far as I will go. Just stand by a see what's up for N* next!
