Location: vancouver Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have a customer that has 2 locations. Each location has a 8x24 DSDR5 KSU. If a caller calls the first location the customer would like to be able to transfer the caller to the second location. I have suggested using the flash key with call transfer from the telco, but they would like other options. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Actually, you can do it with 4.1, but 5.0 is first level to support PRI. You must program a destination code for the line pool, (most times "9"). Press transfer, dial "9", and the number to trn to, then either release or hang up when you hear the ring. Only drawback is with analog trunks you have a 7db loss from each end, which totals 14db to the users. That translates into low volume, and each person can have a hard time hearing the other. Off net trn is best accomplished with digital trunks. __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me!
