Feature** OPTION

It is just like flash but bigger feature wise.
Login, startup etc just like flash but you will also have the ACCESS platform.

To login to ACCESS once you have fired up the NAM press Feat 915, pswrd= ******* and in there you can monitor channels, reboot NAM etc.

If this is a written rule somewhere the n I will not as you ask but I would like to know why this rule exists since this password is in the manual?

Tones on Incoming calls???

It is the policy of this site not to post default passwords ar any instructions to reset passwords. We have had a lengthy debate on this topic and this is the conclusion we came to.

However you may instant message or reply by email privately that is up to you.

So in other words we can not walk somebody thru programming because we cannot even tell them how to get into programming because we will give out a default password?

Btw where is this policy? I have looked everywhere.....I'm afraid to post my knowledge in here now and don't see me returning to this board in the near future.

Yes, you can walk someone thru programming using instant message or private email, just as Modley said. You could even have the person call you or you call them and walk them thru it.

We dont post passwords or how to reset passwords b/c you never really know who is recieving the info..it could be a user or worse...And like you said, the default passwords are in the manual so if someone is doing an install, they should have the manuals.

Device to read back clid info

I am so used to the other forum I frequent that has a different set of rules and thought it odd....however they do not have a PM service therefore passwords and instructions were freely given out.
I never did like the idea of forums giving out the techs password as it takes our job away but got used to it.
Thanks for the explanation, I thought it odd and that you not being a mod tellling me not to give the passwords out and without some sort of explanation got me pondering.

Policy/rules section would be a good thing to have too?

Anyway sorry for myexposure of the password.

Cheers!
