BCM 3.7 to Norstar 5.0 PRI Networking

Trying to use PRI between systems, cannot get it to work. BCM has PRI to CO and this P2P to the Norstar. All calls from Norstar routed through BCM and likewise all DID's through BCM first. Have all keycodes and PEP's on BCM, PRI enabler w/ MCDN on Norstar. Temp fix was to configure both sides to T-1/E&M instead of PRI/SL-1. Now all local calls from Norstar are one-way, called person cannot hear user on Norstar end. All LD calls from Norstar are fine. All DID calls to Norstar give caller no ringback and only ring Norstar set once then reorder. Nortel has been sitting on this and cannot tell me if I need to upgrade the Norstar from 5.0 to make this work.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dru C2

dru,

I don't have any brilliant suggestions, but a couple of things catch my eye.
Firstly, can you call between the two systems, set to set ? Secondly, the whole thing with the 2 different results on outgoing, local vs long distance makes NO sense to me. An outbound call, once routed to the public network is an outbound call. What happens when you call out from the BCM ? Any quirks ? I won't bore you with more Q's. Post back.

What did you get when you had it set up as PRI with the SL1 Protocol?

the norstar has to be at release 6.1 or higher to do PRI. Then you need the PRI enabler keycode. If you want to use SL1 protocol you need the MCDN keycode also.

Sorry for the long delay, FYI, Nortel had to remove a PEP from the BCM (don't remember which one, however it was recommended to install it in the first place). Once is was removed, could program back to SL1-PRI and all was well.
The fix for the outbound calls was increasing the length of the public network dial string on local & LD...
