Angry i2007 Issues

Good Day Folks,

I went to site and swapped out a i2004 for a new i2007. I did connect the clients PC through the i2007.

He called me this morning and tells me that his computer loses connection after 4 hours or so, and he ends up restarting both his PC and the i2007. This user transfers LARGE files across the network and wonders if this has something to do with it. I believe not, because his old i2004 never encountered this.

Switch: BCM 3.7 <-- Patched fully.

Any Suggestions??? Or do I take the drive and replace the I2007 ??

All the Best

Did it work right, and was it connected the same with the i2004?

The physical wiring was exactly the same at the I2004.

From Jack --> i2007 --> PC

How long of a drive did you say it was?

Can you check settings on IP phone ? Some f/w for i2004 and i2007 phones have problems with setting "100Mbit full duplex yes/no". If this setting is set incorrectly - PC connected through i2007 will have problems with transfering large files.

Wink i2007 problems

Hi As far as I know the I2007 is only fully supported on ver4 on the BCM 200/400 and on version 2 of the BCM50 I have recently started with the Beta testing on ver 4 on the BCM 200/400. If you look at the button layout on ver 3.7 you will notice that the system sees the phone as a i2004.
