Location: Toronto Rep Power: 4 ![]() | BCM 400 Version 3.7 Good Morning All, System: BCM 400 Version 3.7 Lines: PRI with DID's Problem: When a caller calls a DID example 555-4321, and the call is answered and then put on HOLD, there is no tones... When a caller calls inbound to the main btn....and the receptionist puts them on hold, the caller recieves the tones... My only thoughts is that the main btn DID is set to Public under line programming and that the individual DID's are set to Private to: _ _ _ _ under the target line programming. My tech is going to site today to try it. Anyone else have similar progroblems ??? | ||||||||

Location: Meechigan Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Techguy, Please post back if you find anything. I have never heard of Tones on Hold having any programmability, tweakability, caveats, etc.... It's just a straight up global setting. Have they tried the ever popular restart ? | ||||||||

Location: Toronto Rep Power: 4 ![]() | My tech has not done a restart like I also suggested in the beginning... However, he did try changing a DID from Private to: XXXX to Public under the target line via a Remote connection. Findings: You call the DID, and then place that call on HOLD and the On Hold Tones Return ! Strange....I know myself that changing a Target line from Public to Private should not impact the Music on Hold... Anyways...I will keep everyone informed on the findings... | ||||||||

Location: Cape Town Rep Power: 6 ![]() | yeah it is strange what I do is I add both private and public on my target lines this way it works for me hmm you see it depends how you have done your overall setup maybe give me a break down on how you have done your overall setup. | ||||||||
