T7406 Base unit

Hello All,

I am installing a new base unit to add 3 more sets to the system. I have changed the dip switches on the base to D,D,U. But my hand sets are not able to pickup the base, nor can I sent it a new SS Code. Is it possible that it has a different SS code then default, and if so does anyone know how to reset it to default?

Thanks, Chris

I think you have to do registration in the first 15 minutes of base power up. I could be wrong. Do you have the install manual? It is on the MICS/CICS 6.0 CD. I can send you the PDF if you need it.

What rhowlet said ....

I screwed this up several times before it finally settled in to my addled brain that YOU HAVE TO SEND THE CODE IMMEDIATELY AFTER A POWER DOWN/POWER UP.
