Remote Administration for Norstar?

Just a wild query.

Is there a way that I could connect Norstar administration into a PC, like what the Meridian 1 does? I got MICS 7.0. Just imagining a box of SMDR can output information to a Hyperterminal, for example. Same way, I imagine a box like that good for administration.

Sometimes simple changes I need to go down to other site (but I could not let somebody to do that over dictation remotely). In this query, I will access the PC connected on the far side then.

There is a remote administration box Norstar makes to do remote changes. You have to dial in to it and use your kepad on you phone, but as long as you know the programming codes you can do it from your office. I believe it is about $300 for the device, but well worth your time for simple changes.

I hope this helps!

Hi, angler. do you know the particular product code of it?

So meaning while you are doing your changes, you will just imagine what you are already reaching inside the configuration menus....

You are looking at the Fast Rad (NT8B80AAAC) and N* Remote Utilities 11.0. The RAD goes onsite and takes up a station port. The Remote Utlities is installed on your PC and allows you to access the system.
