BCM Unified Manager No Access

Hi:

I try to connect to the Unified Manager of a BCM 400, but if the PC is in a diferent subnet that the BCM, no matter I can ping the BCM, I can not enter to it. However I can enter to other areas for example, I can log in to the call Pilot, and the wizards and all the other sections but no to the unified Manager. The BCM's address is 10.16.163.125/255.255.255.192 GW 10.16.163.126, the PC's address is 10.16.34.249/255.255.255.192 GW 10.16.34.254

It's possible manage the BCM in this scenario? if yes How?

Thankyou

We usually push the little round button on the front of the BCM when it won't talk to us via UM... I think it's the reset button.

Before you get to that stage of things make sure that there isn't any port blocking going on between subnets... depending on how things are with your IT folks they do at times make minor innocent changes to policy and suddenly things don't work.

You could also try from a PC on the same subnet / switch etc.

There is no problem with a PC on the same subnet, no matter if it is on another switch, the problem occurs only when the PC is in another subnet, if you know the ports used for the unified manager please tell me what they are

Thankyou
