BCM 400 and signalling channels

I have a BCM 400 that has 83 registered IP phones out of a licenced 92.

When the customer tries to register the phone he says it does not appear in the active list.

When I look at the signalling channels being used it shows 89 out of 91 being used 98%. Could it be there is not enough resource left to register the additional phones. If so would an additional PEC card help. System only has 2 installed.

BCM Signaling Ressoucres

Hi pdulfo,

the BCM 400 has a maximum of 90 signaling channels.

These are shared between the voice mail, the auto attendant, the call center, the IVR, the VoIP Gateway trunks and the IP sets.

It is quite possible that the BCM has no ressource left.

As far as your question regarding the PEC cards, it depends on the codec you are using.

Can you please confirm how many of these applications are activated on your BCM and what codec you are using?

Tks,

PA
