8X24 password config. reset - PBX Info :: Your Free PBX, PABX and Telephone Information Resource

Always knew I would run into this somewhere,but I recently took over several
Norstars that heve had the config password changed.
I am sure that if I powered down and performed a restart it would default to
the CONFIG secondary passsword.
With VM this is a problem.
Anyone know how to reset the KSU pass once it has been changed from
CONFIG?

These procedures are not normally posted on this forum as it could leave openess to hacking. Sometimes members will send you information as a private message. You may also want to try Google groups or Nortel technical support.

There are a couple of ways to do this. One way is to use a "Rad", but it's not always possible for older software such as the 6+16, 8+24 etc. Another way is to use the Feature** DEBUG method.
I won't explain the process on this forum, but it's possible to find the info elsewhere.
