Controlled COS Feature?

I Have a MICS XC 5.0 and a NAM 4.0. My calls are forwarding to vmail after 4 rings, but, it acts like the mail boxes are not created. When I get into vmail admin and view the mailboxes, they are there. I am using PRI w/target lines.
Any Ideas?

Oh, one thing I thought was strange is when using the create mailbox utility, no mailboxes were created. I re-installed the vmail before doing anything.

cos question

I'm getting the canned greeting from table one, after the extension forwards to vmail.
The target line is not assigned to be answered by the vmail. Only forward to vmail from an ext on an unanswered condition

Hi All....

No.
The system and vmail came from a prvious site. I initialized both of them. I hade o enter the key to set PRI. Programmed both and cut the PRI over. Once I tested the first DID -
XXX-XXX-0400, recieving 3 digits, 3 digit DNs, the trouble began.

NRU 9.1

Shooter make sure System Parameter Redirect is set to NO, it may be your problem
Using Norstar Voice Mail Manager in your NRU software, go to OPTIONS tab and go into SYSTEM PARAMETERS. It will come up and about half way down you'll see Redirect DN set to yes, it should be set to NO.

Adding DNs

I don't have the vmail hooked up to a network YET.
OK - here is another strange thing happenning. I took the target line and assigned it to be picked up on a table (4), for testing. created the CCR tree (4) for that table. Removed the CFNA from the extension (400). Called the DID and it goes to the table, CCR works...

Now
I removed the target line from being picked up from the table (4). Disabled the CCR tree (4) and called the DID again. The target line is still being answered by the table (4) and the vmail still has the CCR tree (4) enabled. So, I am stil able to dial 1 for sales....

Me thinks I am working with one messed up vmail.
Maybe I need to reinstall it again and see what happens!!!!!!!!!!

Well,
I have tried to reinstall the vmail and I am still having the sme issue.
could it be that the info coming over the PRI is affecting the way it trnsfers from the extension to the vmail?
