I have a MICS-XC 7.0 system with one M7324 and a bunch of M7208's. There is a (telco) voicemail box on the primary line that takes any caller that doesn't get answered after 3 rings. When there's a message, a stutter dial tone is heard on Line 1 and Message Waiting Indicator is activated on the M7324, but not on the M7208's, even though ALL sets are flagged for a Message Waiting Indicator on line 1. Can anyone tell me why my M7208's can't get the Msg Wait indicator to come on?

BTW, Lines are Appr+Ring on the M7324 but are Ring Only on the M7208s (they use pool keys or an ACOD).

I just installed a CICS with app & rng on 2 sets, and the rest app only. When a call goes to the "call notes" vm and amsg is left, all sets get a msg lite.

Thanks. The line does need to appear on the set, ringing or not.
