I am having a bear of a time getting EXT CF to work on a CICS.
I have a CICS 6.1 with 4 analog lines. The customer wants one set to forward to her cell #. I have set Route 2 to point to Pool B, Dest Code 8A pointing to Route 2 and Absorb 1, Line 4 is set as Pool B.

I programmed CF NA to 8XXX-XXXX.

I have also tried a combo of dial-outs in Route 2 using F78 and/or F804 and also no Dial-out #. It's not working.

I know I'm missing the boat somewhere, but I don't know where.

Crow,

I just tried this at our office, we have analog lines, and we use a destination code of 9 (no A), absorb all (1). This destination code points to route 000 (pool A, no external #). Granted we have a BCM, but it shouldn't be that different. Is this a Call Pilot ? I just tried this on my phone - CFNA to 9XXX-XXXX and it worked on the first try. Do you have Allow Redirect to Y on the set ? If you're getting nowhere, post back with what exactly happens when you place the call to this set.

Dest Codes should be set to absorb all, unless you are manipulating digits to another system.
