Rep Power: 8 ![]() | You are on the best track. I use PBX for all of my installs. It does explain each template in the inst guide, but I would continue to use the PBX template. __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me!

I guess it is really a matter of choice, as everyone is going to do it his or her way. __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me!

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | TIE line to Brooktrout RightFax Server Ramjet, You could always PRIME the trunks to 2221 and not assign the DIDs that are not in use. What will happen is the system won;t recognize the digits (as they don't match a target line) and then default to the prime of the trunk.. Brewsky

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Brewsky, I said the same thing only in a diff way. I don't assign all of the DID's to DN's, only the rec'd digits of the 100's group to target lines. And like you say, that will allow all of the group to ring the prime if one of the numbers is dialed, whether or not it is actually assigned to a DN. __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me!

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Turkey Day Well actually we said different things.. I said not to assign the received digits to target lines if they are not assigned to ring on a phone, and then use PRIME on the DID trunks to ring on a certain extension.. Just clarifying is all.. I think it saves time not to assign the target lines.. Especially if the customer has a 100 bank of DIDs but only 15 phones.. Brewsky
