I have set up a door phone connected to a CICS and I can't get it top ring station 21. I set it up per the instructions in the door phone manual but I'm having no success. I added an answer dn(21) to all the sets so all the phones can ring.

Any help would be appreciated!

Ensure that ext 21 is not forwarded to anywhere and that do not disturb is in turned on.

Does the door phone ring at all, whether from the outside or inside? As long as you have programmed teh door phone to ring on x21, it should. Look at the extention itself and ensure that there is nothing preventing it from ringing.

Thanks Skippy for your reply. When I press the door phone button it sounds off but x21 does nothing. As I read the manual it often refers to a three digit code. Do you think that I need to change my dn length to 3 instead of 2?

To setup properly.

1) Make sure in F9*4 call DN is set to 21.

Also, I always ring a blank extension then DN ring that all over.
