We have installed new telephone system BCM 400, and we are facing problem in the voice quality, means I can hear the other party well, but he can’t here me well, we have changed all internal telephone cables.

Telecommunication company came and they changed the DP Box, also they have tested all lines all are working fine.

Earlier we have Panasonic Telephone System (Analog), it was working fine, no body complains about voice, we have changed to Nortel (BCM), but we have voice problem

I have installed 100's of BCM's without encountering this problem.

The first question is are you using M or T series sets? If you are using
old M series sets, try replacing a couple of newer M series or T series
sets to test the quality of calls.

What software level of BCM are you using? You can double check the Nortel
website to see if there is a patch or update that might be needed for your BCM.

The other possibility is that your line module(s), whether DTM or GATM/CTM, might be defective.

Test all the above possibilities and let us know.

Skippy, is there a problem using "M" series sets on the BCM? I don't have any sites running those, but it helps to know.

Yes, let us know.

I have several BCM's using literally hundreds of M series phones (Norstar changed out to BCM, didn't want to buy new phones). I have not run into any issues. I actually was complained into changing a T7316 out to a good ole' M7310 by a cantankerous branch manager who was peeved the main office made him switch out his 20 year old Merlin system, that he loved dearly. He was disgusted with the "thin/poor sound quality" of the new T series phone. We didn't really know what to say, so we gave him a M7310, and told him that he might find the sound quality more to his liking. He proclaimed the M series phone "better". It was that or the fact that he liked making me ask how high when he said jump. He did quit whining.

Is the poor quality on all calls or just external calls? If external only it may be a trunk card pad issue.

No there is not a problem using M series sets. We have many sites that utilize both M and T series sets without any problems.

What software version is your BCM? There was a patch (core patch for 3.6) to prevent the M series sets from locking up. Other than that, I have never seen this problem happen.
