Remote Solutions for Nortel

If the system you have is a 8X24 release 6 is not support the highest release you can go to is DR5. If the system you have is a 0X32 all you need to do is put the software in and turn it on, as long as this is for resale you don't have to worry about everything going back to default

Call transfer over ITG

Mitch,
PP is correct. The 6.0 software is for the CICS and MICS systems. The 824 uses DR1, DR2, DR3, DR4, and DR5. DR5 being the lattest version out. It would be a good system for a small business looking for basic features.

Good Luck!!
Jeff

Call transfer over ITG

You will also need a 6.0 Installation Manual to do your programing, quite a few differences between rel 1 and 6

Mitch, If you buy 6.0 sft wr it will come with all the info on a cd. But, if you have ever inst an MICS, the basic commands are the same back to 2.0 or so. Their are plenty of outlets to purch the sft wr, look in Telecom Gear and you will see several. Also, if you don't need 6.0 for a specific purpose, you can get a better deal on 5.0 or below.

Hey Barbie! I sell nothing but Nortel products. You pay a bit more for them, but you also hang them on the wall and walk away. I have (in my 30 som odd years in this bidness) installed every thing from 1A2 to the TIE's and Fujitsu's and NEC's and so on. Nothing I have seen works as well as a N*. And if you can keep the customer's hands off of the Meridian, I have had no probs with them. Our office also installs Vodavi and Avaya, but not as much since they have seen the limited amount of retrips and trouble involved with Nortel products. GO FOR IT!!!!!
