If the system you have is a 0X32 all you need to do is put the software in and turn it on, as long as this is for resale you don't have to worry about everything going back to default | ||||||||

Location: Springfield, Illinois Rep Power: 7 | Call transfer over ITG Mitch, PP is correct. The 6.0 software is for the CICS and MICS systems. The 824 uses DR1, DR2, DR3, DR4, and DR5. DR5 being the lattest version out. It would be a good system for a small business looking for basic features. Good Luck!! Jeff | ||||||||

But, if you have ever inst an MICS, the basic commands are the same back to 2.0 or so. Their are plenty of outlets to purch the sft wr, look in Telecom Gear and you will see several. Also, if you don't need 6.0 for a specific purpose, you can get a better deal on 5.0 or below.  __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me! | ||||||||

I have (in my 30 som odd years in this bidness) installed every thing from 1A2 to the TIE's and Fujitsu's and NEC's and so on. Nothing I have seen works as well as a N*. And if you can keep the customer's hands off of the Meridian, I have had no probs with them. Our office also installs Vodavi and Avaya, but not as much since they have seen the limited amount of retrips and trouble involved with Nortel products.
