Hello, I just finished a residential installation of a circa 1998 (i.e. older software) restricted version CICS system. The internal ATA is hooked up
to a cordless phone. Everything is fine expect ATA line doesn't seem to be able to transfer calls, i.e. initiating a flash doesn't return stutter dial tone. What am I missing here. Surely the internal ATA has flash signal capability?

The problem is that when I send a flash signal, system DOES NOT return stutter dial tone....dialing *70 and the extension does nothing...Any idea why no stutter dial tone?

I know of no stuttered dial tone on the CICS. However, there is such a thing as call progress tones. If you press flash and dial 809, I think this is the code, you will then receive a tone when you press flash (link) etc. To trn a call, press flash,(link), and dial *70 and the extension number. The call will trn. We have just moved offices, so I can't find some of my doc's.
