Location: Flint, Michigan Rep Power: 7  Country:  | On a system with phones that have 4 lines on them (not a pool) and say the 3rd line rings, can you set it up so just picking up the handset picks-up that line without having to push the line button? | ||||||||

Rep Power: 5 | line pickup Darby, as long as the line rings on the phone, all you need to do is pickup the handset to answer it. However, I have seen where people have put the handset cable into the headset jack on the bottom of the phone and then it would require them to push a button to answer any ringing line. It's a system I installed a couple of years ago and I just don't remember that much about it. They did look at where the handset was plugged into and said it is right. I will have to stop over there I guess! | ||||||||

So, if this is the case, change the line to "Appear and Ring" under individual set programming and the user can just pick up the ringing line.[/code] | ||||||||
