| We have a Nortel Northstar system and I need to know if there is a way to change the prime number. One of our owners decided to have a promotion which listed an 800 number and they tied that number to the same number in our phone system that is accessed when you dial 9 for an outside line. We have all of our speed dials setup to start with 9. Problem is we are being told not to use 9 to get an outside line because it defaults to our line 4 which is now the incomming 800 number. I am looking for a way to fix this by changing the number that our 9 searches for when speed dialing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brian Paff | ||||||||

There is no way to affect the line order selected by dialing 9 (line pool) via programming (except, as Nortelian said, taking the line out of the pool). It starts with the highest line number (in the pool) and goes down | ||||||||
