On a BCM 3.5:

On my Greeting Table I have the "Non Business" time set to 4:30, so that is effectively when the Night Service begins. But if someone should be remaining in the office later than that, then they can't answer the phone anymore.

Is there an easy way to make this "Non Business" time configurable so that when the last person leaves they can activate the Night Service? (They are not able to log on to the BCM console.)

Yes, but it would need to be activated (and deactivated) manually each evening (and morning). You can have the last user to leave change the AA function to "non-business", by using "Feature" 982 (Operator Status), and setting "Business" to CLOSED.

I hope this helps!

Missing Compact Flash card - NTM403BA

Returning to this after the summer holidays!

Thanks for that very helpful reply. I tried this Feature-982 on one of the admin phones, but it would not accept the phone's owner's password. She tried the same one she uses to access voice mail. This feature is obviously restricted in some way. How can I get at it?

sirjimbo,

Policy on this site is no posting of passwords. It is a separate password from the users mailbox password. If you have a NAM or FLASH Set up and Operation guide, or a Call Pilot CD, just look under F982, "Setting the Business Status".

Depending on the version of voicemail, especially CallPilot 100/150
had know issues where if you set the voicemail for Business Open:No, then
the CCR tree would not play.

As far as the 'closed greeting' ability to toggle on and off, I know of only using the business open setting or adjusting the clossing time.
