forwarding question

I have 5 analog loop lines (Vonage VOIP) and a Norstar MICS/Call Pilot system. I was wondering if there is a way to change the CLID info that goes out so it always displays the number for line 1 when calling out?

Thanks,
Mark

As ramjet mentioned, you can only override outbound CLID with ISDN service. However, some telcos will set up the CO trunks to send out the same caller ID on multiple analog lines - but you're at the mercy of the telco for that request.

One other, (kinda roundabout) way to do this would be to change the OLI # on every phone in the system to the number for line 1. Don't know how many phones you got on this system, but if it's not too many and you've got the time to change every set, it should work.

I tried changing the OLI# for my phone and it didn't work. Vonage says they can do it, but they haven't yet.....same old thing with them, I'll have to call them again.....

Thanks.
