MICS 4.0 with T1

Have a customer looking to get outbound caller id and inbound caller id. We are going to get PRI enabler key codes for the system and installing them here in a couple of weeks.

My question:

With 4.0 can I enable all sets to display the caller information with PRI enabled on the system?

Also, outbound caller ID is a carrier option, correct?

Thanks in advance!

I believe the 4.0 is not capable of setting up CallerId on more than one set. This is done in the line programming.

If you want information displayed on more than one set, you will need to have the call log, lines ring/appear and log space set up on those sets.

Does anyone else have any further info?

Have you thought about upgrading the software? I know there are some issues with 4.0 and PRI but can't remember what they are. Also do you have voicemail, and what type is it? Flash vm deff does not play well with PRI.

Well.......

The software upgrade is what I am thinking of. Just found out the the customer has 4.0

The outbound is the primary intent, and I am working on that, but I am thinking I am going to have to upgrade. They have a NAM if I am not mistaken.

Any more thoughts?

If you upgrade the system, you will need to upgrade your nam to 4.1
