This should be easy for you guys....I have on person who needs to answer their phone, plus two other people's phones. We're running a Nortel Norstar system, and I thought I had it, but it doesn't appear to be working.....I've gone into the Admin Configuration, entered the assistants extension in Terminals & Sets, Line Access>Line Assignment>Show Line, then entered the two other lines I want to ring on her phone, set them to Appear and Ring, and then Updated the system. When I check again, all three lines show up, but if I call any line besides her own, they don't ring or appear on the assistants phone. Is there something else I have to do on HER line maybe? Thanks for your help.

Are you calling the other numbers from inside the system or outside?

Target line appearences will only work from outside the system, from the PSTN.

If you want both, then you need to use answer DN's.

Go into system programming Terminals and Sets.
Bring up their phone.
Go to Capabilities / Lines / Answer DN and set the extensions in question to yes. Each answer DN will take a key position on her phone. You can set the link to appear only or ring.
