Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hello everyone I have a problem accessing a BCM 400 (3.6). The only password known by the customer ( a new customer with an existing unit) will only grant access to certain portions of programming. For example, when I try to access the BRU, to set up a backup or restore ( 'not authorized' ). Is there a way to default or find out the password for ee_admin as entering the BCM programming with the only known password, will not allow me to see or change passwords. I was told that I have to call Nortel, but I am curious if there is way to find out the passwords so that I can have full access to all programming. Thanks in advance

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The problem with contacting the previous contractor is that the two parties are at war and I doubt that they would give up the password to them or myself. As far as contacting Nortel, I will have to do that evenually, but I was curious if there was a way to accomplish this without having to go to them.

Luckily we found our password before it was too late. So calling Nortel might not do any good. you may need to wipe it clean.
