Bob, can't say on a CICS, but I tested on an MICS just installed this past weekend and I hear the MOH tone once, then silence, then the phone transfered to rings. Answer normally, and carry on a conversation. Never did I hear a spurt of dial tone during the transfer sequence. System set-up is analog lines wi CLID on Global analog cards, line pool A, dest code of 9 any, using route 001 with no dial out, absorb didgits=1. Anxious to try on a CICS and see if any different.

Ericsson?

thanks........maybe the only way to avoid dial tone is by using the line redirection feature, but the users would have a cow dealing with that set up and besides with redirection it seems as if you can hardly hear the transfered party??

for the price what do you expect... :casstet:

Bob, redirect of fwd should make no diff in loss. Both are doing the same thing, ie; trunk to trunk transfer :casstet:

Caller ID on ACD phone

It happens, sadly to say, to alot of us as we get older. I also get to blame mine on that large floating airport I worked at while assisting @ Uncle Sam's Canoe Club!!!!!!
