Location: hillbilly heaven Rep Power: 6 ![]() | This one needs the DEATH SENTENCE... My vendor showed me the default IP etc, but what he did not show is me what changes he made on his laptop in order to connect. Has anyone here connected to the BCM using the inboard ethernet connection, and if so, what changes did you have to make. Thanks

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | You don't have to make any changes on your PC. If you have the ethernet address for the BCM you should be able to access it... If you are having problems, check to make sure your PROXY SETTINGS are not in use on your internet explorer. Brewsky

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ATA lockup on MICS 6.1 You have to make sure your laptop is on the same subnet as the BCM. If your laptop is set to DHCP and you connect directly to the BCM via crossover cable it won't work. Change your network cards TCPIP properties to a static IP address that is on the same subnet as the BCM. By the same subnet I mean if the BCM is 10.10.10.1 then set your laptop to 10.10.10.2
