Does Nortel QSIG supports Ring Again feature
Just picked up a brand new 3x8 to install this weekend. It has caller id built into it. My question is that when I programmed this thing up the other night I noticed it asked for which set I wanted the caller id to display on. I know I can program a button on the other phones to see the info when the phone is ringing also, but is there a way to just have it show up on all phones? That is what the customer would like obviously. Thanks!

In short, no it won't do it. I will show up on a transfer, or even when pressing a button to answer a call. But not on all sets.

from release 24 on- QSIG does support Ring again

Darby, remember the 3X8 is running I think on the old DR software like the 8X24's I don't know if it is upgradeable or not.

it runs the good ole DR5 software and there is no upgrade for that hardware platform
