User forum?

I guess this i basicly a technical user forum. I am a gold businesspartner engineer. Therefore i have knowledge/access to stuff thats not accessible by users. Feel free to ask anything. If i can find time to reply i certainly will do.

Hey Thetris, I think the orginal intent of this forum was for people to post reviews about thier provider but this is good too. Its good to know you can get us inside info.

There are plenty of engineers on here that are able to help out. Myself, I was tier 2 support at a distributor (tier 1=reseller, tier 2=distribution, tier 3&4=avaya). As well as being an Avaya Certified Instructor on the IP Office. I know there are lots of level 1 engineers, a few level 2 engineers, and probably some level 3 engineers on here too.

As for business partners, it depends on what country you're in. In the UK there are too many in my opinion. There are a few excellent ones, quite a few good ones, but lots and lots of cowboys who are installing IP based telephony systems who don't even know what IP stands for! Watch out if you're an end-user as buying from one of these cowboys will bring more trouble that the cheap price of the system is worth!
