Lightbulb VoIP

I got the aterisk CD and a small trunk card.... I'm having trouble installing the asterisk software on the linux box..... Anyone have an alternate site that I could go get the asterisk software.....

Asterisk at home is probably the easiest one to install. Just put in the CD and boot up. Let us know if that is what your using.

what build of linux are you using? you can usually apt-get asterisk if you're using ubuntu. If not go to asterisk.org and download the tar.gz. Upload it to usr/src and decompress it. You should be able to do a make install

Yeah, but that only gives you Asterisk, you'll still need to download a bunch of stuff (AMP/FreePBX) if you want all the "bells and whistles" or if you want an easier system to manage/configure.
