Ramjet

Greeting to all. We are moving our offices this weekend and will be also setting up a new Altigen system. In addition, we will be installing the system at our other 3 locations with IP trunking between all. There will also be a call center involved with folks logging into it from all of the locations. We have a couple of the new IP710 sets, for beta, and are waiting for the GA of the sets for the other locations. The 710 sets look a whole lot better that the previous IP sets, but don't know yet how they perform. While I am very sceptical about this system, I will give it the benefit of the doubt, and post back when we see how well it does on a corporate network. Our new office is wired Cat6, and we are using Cisco power over ethernet with a Cisco 4500. Although I think we should have gone with the Nortel solution, I will be objective about this and give and unbiased report when we see how it does.
