Rep Power: 0 ![]() | voice mail going to cell phone voice mail... I set up a mobile extension for one person in our company for his cell phone. I don't know how but I got the system to go to his voice mail on his cell phone if he did not answer. In trying to figure out what I did, I "broke" it and now it behaves like I would think it would and it goes to the voice mail on the system. Any idea how to set it up so that that if he does not answer his cell phone it goes to his cell phone's voice mail?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | what do you want to accomplish on this because you setup a mobile extension and you set cell phone number of your officemate. if the call did not answer it will goes to extension voicemail on the system, not on cellphone voicemail once you setup a mobile extension your cellphone is your extension. if you want to put it back to where it is reconfigure the extension configuration and remove the mobile extension.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Allegro, I dont get your question. You said if he didnt answer the call goes to his VM cell phone, and you want to to that? If you set up the mobile, and you are reaching the system VM, you only need to disable the Forward VM on the Altigen server,

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | voice mail going to cell phone voice mail... Quote:
1) Create the mobile extension and register the cell phone so that the extension becomes active. (lets say ext 111=Mobile Ext) - note that the active mobile extension requires a station license as it is considered by the system as a "physical Extension". 2) On the persons existing "desk extension" set ring no answer contition to fwd to mobile extension (ext111). - Nothe that for busy call handling you may not want to change these settings as he may be at his desk and has other requirements for busy) 3) now here is the trick - make sure that the cell phone setup is to ring x times before sending call to cell Voicemail. (Normally set to 4 rings on most cell phones). Test the call. If all is set up correctly the caller should endup in the cell phones voicemail. Hope this helps.
