Cordless Headset?

I am currently in an office that has an Iwatsu system. I must admit that this thing is the biggest P O S out there....

3903/4 Caller List

Wayne,

Do you know what kind it is? (ZTD, Adix, etc.)

The company I worked for started selling the Adix before I left. The Adix-vs (very small) was ok, but when you started adding features and options the switch was a pain to work with.

I will have to agree with you on this one.

PRI problem?

STAY AWAY FROM OMEGA/IWATSHIT.......
Coming from NJ, Omega was based in Carlstadt, NJ.
I replaced many a systems in my days all from customers complaining about inferior quality and lack of support.......

Next to Executone (hahaha..jj) I wouldnt touch this system or get involved with it. Their VM system is a real POS. Hard disk crashing all the time.

Sending callers out on a different route

Mitch,

Are you following me?
But you like the toshita systems! :P

Iwatsu, bless you!
That is how most techs jock about it around here.
I was never impressed with it, the phones even look cheap.

I must agree with the previous posts, In my opinion anything from the Iwatsu/Omega line is a complete waste of time and money and Ive had to deal with them all the way back from the omega IV 616 and 1648 days. Never had much luck with them staying up or functioning correctly and they've all been a bitch to program compared to the other systems on the market.

Oh great, just what I wanted to hear. I just inherited a network that has an ADIX-M Iwatsu something or other and the sound quality is miserable on their lines. Also, they pay an outside company to program even the simplest changes. I am gonna suggest an entirely new system, but could use some advice. Any suggestions?

Surely you jest.. A 4 year old post? Didn't you have this same issue with Comdial being an inferior supported product? I'll post the link if you like. Mitch the phone man died last year... so should have this post.

IT guy trying to be a phone man again???

Angry Creeaaaaakkkk!!!!

Sorry, I couldn't hear your last message, that creaking sound drowned out everything you said. And to think, I was foolish enough to think that anybody who considers themselves a "phone man" would be able to see past their own impending doom and offer some advice before the door to their casket was closed for good.

CRREEEAAAKKK!
BAM! (and the casket slams shut)

I gotta give you credit, though. Of all the folks that post to a forum about a fading technology, I'm flattered that you would remember me. I mean, hell, I've only dismantled 5 or six systems setup by self-proclaimed "phone men" since my first post here. I only worked for Motorola's Cellular Group for five years as a field Engineer, but hey. Just cause I haven't invested all of my time in every tragic, antiquated technology that you have spent your life learning doesn't mean that I deserve to be harshed like that. Trust me, I am not trying to steal your jobs. People come to me to get rid of people like you.

Nobody wants to have to depend on someone with your attitude.
Don't bother replying, I've already filtered this forum out of my mail and I'm discontinuing my membership.
